Mission:
We partner with organizations to create meaningful, people-centred change, helping them reach their full potential and better serve their communities.
Values:
Work together, equitably, to make change for those who are most in need
Since 2004 I have been volunteering and working with non-profits across several roles. Some personal highlights include:
Telephone suicide and crisis support;
Mentorship and leadership roles for urban indigenous youth, and immigrant youth;
Organization and program level strategic guidance in housing support, harm reduction, and indigenous communities.
I chose a career in technology so that I could create impact in social justice. My volunteer experiences taught me that providing technical capacity to nonprofits could unlock potential that was being lost in processes that had not kept pace with their growth. The energy it took to manage their own systems was holding them back from advancing their missions to their greatest capacities.
Through my work, I have been involved in transformational change for dozens of nonprofits across Canada and the USA. My projects are led with the guiding principle that technology should be human centred, designed to connect your entire ecosystem - from the people that you serve, your supporters, your staff, and the leadership team.
I have worked with clients whose organizational models include:
Nationally federated;
International;
and Government regulated
Service types for these organizations include:
International aid relief;
National crisis and suicide support;
Media;
Art Museums;
Children and family services;
Foodbanks;
and a Coalition of service providers
System processes I have helped solution and implement include:
Data architecture and process flow for crisis response;
Ticketing system management;
National level-advocacy response;
Supportive housing application triage;
Family service workflow;
Go/ No-Go decisions on major project implementations;
and lots and lots of supporter engagement processes.
Our greatest successes came from being adaptable to the clients, while building a framework that allowed for greater exponential impact through our collaboration.
